Find answers to common questions about using the Thirsty Work customer portal.
Getting Started
If you're the main account holder, go to the "Claim Your Account" page and enter your account code along with the email address registered on the account. We'll send you a link to set your password and access the portal.
You can register using the "Claim a Delivery Site" option. You'll need your account code, site code, and the email address linked to that site. This gives you access to place orders and view history for your specific site.
If you've claimed a delivery site, the main account holder needs to have registered on the portal first for your order history to be imported. Once they've registered, your historical orders will appear automatically.
Placing Orders
Browse our products, add items to your basket, and proceed to checkout. Your delivery address and pricing are based on your account, so you'll see the prices specific to your agreement with Thirsty Work.
The products shown are based on your account's price book. You'll only see items that are available on your agreement, along with any general catalogue products. If you think something is missing, please contact your Thirsty Work representative.
Yes, you have 1 hour to make any amendments to your order. You'll see an "Amend Order" button on the order detail page. This lets you update quantities, add or remove items, and change delivery instructions. Once an order has passed, it can no longer be amended.
Delivery Sites
A delivery site is a specific location where you receive deliveries. Some accounts have multiple sites — for example, if your business has several offices or branches. Each site can have its own delivery address, contact person, and product pricing.
If your account has multiple delivery sites, you'll see a "Delivery Site" dropdown at the top of the page. Select the site you want to order for — this will update your delivery address and show the correct pricing for that location. Please note that switching sites will clear your basket.
Order Tracking
Go to "My Orders" in your account. Each order shows a delivery timeline with three stages: Order Placed, Estimated Delivery, and Delivered. You'll see the estimated delivery date once it's been allocated, and the actual delivery date and driver once your order has been delivered.
Your order has been placed and is being prepared for delivery. This includes generating a estimated delivery date and allocating a driver.
Your order is on hold due to outstanding invoices. Please call 01392 877 172 or email hello@thirstywork.com to resolve.
Your order has been delivered successfully.
This order has been cancelled. If you didn't request this, please contact us.
Our driver was unable to complete your delivery. We're rescheduling this for you as soon as possible.
Invoices & Payments
Go to "My Invoices" in your account sidebar. You can view all your invoices, see outstanding amounts, and download invoice PDFs.
You can pay individual invoices using the "Pay" button next to each invoice, or use the "Pay All" option to settle all outstanding invoices in one transaction. Payments are processed securely via card.
Yes, you can download a PDF statement of your account from the "My Invoices" page. This shows all invoices, payments, and your current balance.
Account Management
The parent account is the main account holder — they can view all sites, orders, and invoices across the entire account. A site account is linked to a specific delivery location and can only view orders and place deliveries for that site.
You can update your name, email, and password from the "Account Information" page in your account. For changes to your delivery address or account details, please contact your Thirsty Work representative.
Click "Forgot Your Password?" on the login page and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password.
Pricing
Pricing is based on your specific account agreement with Thirsty Work. Each account (and in some cases each delivery site) has its own price book, so the prices you see are tailored to your contract.
Product prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT at 20% is added at checkout and shown in the order summary.
